The studio

Small by design

An applied AI studio. The person who scopes it builds it, and stays on it.

Vision and mission

Why the studio exists

The routine looked after by itself, so people do the work that matters.

Vision

Every service business runs its routine at the right level, and its people spend their days on customers and judgement.

Mission

Move one routine at a time up the ladder, prove the gain in numbers, and keep it there.

The workshop

How the old workshops worked

Small, open to the street, early to every new tool, and paid for judgement rather than materials.

The way people work has changed. AI has set off an explosion of ideas and capability, the kind Florence saw 600 years ago, when a few artisans with the newest tools made what had taken many hands. Old organisations are built around people and the layers needed to manage them. A new kind of organisation is built with AI at the core of every process. That is how we built Orkateq. A small team with modern technology embedded at the core of how we work, delivering what once needed a large team.
Values

Six things we hold to

Each one with the practice that proves it.

  • Candour

Every report says where automation pays and which routines to leave alone. Some engagements end at the assessment.

  • Craft

The person who scopes it builds it, and stays on it. Source code, documentation and a handover come with every automation.

  • Measure

One result named per automation, counted in your own systems, where the change happens.

  • Proportion

The right level, not the top level. Most routines belong at 2 or 3, and the report says why.

  • Care

Your data stays in accounts in your name, the minimum each step needs, every read and write logged. Client personal information stays out of public AI tools.

  • Curiosity

Our own studio runs at level 3. Agents draft, test and write. An engineer reviews everything that touches your systems.
